人生本來就是自由無自在, 無憂無愁的, 那來的煩惱? 那來的苦悶呢? 所谓“ 何其自性, 本來集足”.
啊! 為的不過是那 “风”花 “雪”夜罢了!!!

不是吗?

26th May 2007 Restaurant Mohd Ilmali bin A Kader

The aforesaid Mamak ( Indian Muslim ) restaurant, situated at Jln Kee Ann, Melaka; ( opposite Lam Sing Coffee Manufacturer ) was where my wife Wendy and I had our breakfast this morning. She preferred Mee Rojak while I opt for Mee Rebus. When we ordered a cup of coffee, the restaurant owner happily walked over to next door’s Chinese coffee shop to place order on our behalf.

While enjoying our respective Mee Rebus and Mee Rojak, which tasted delicious; we notice something strange happening……..

The stall owner selling Satay at the rear of this restaurant politely, happily served walked in customers although they did not order his Satay. Next , when the Chinese coffee shop assistant finally came over with a few orders ready to be served; the Mee Goreng stall owner, whom I presumed to be this restaurant owner as well cordially inform her who ordered what drinks at which table; to my astonishment. How come these people around is so helpful and cooperative?? And mind you, the cup of coffee only cost us RM 0.80!

The cordial cooperation amongst the various business entrepreneurs , even including neighboring shops really made my day; for the atmosphere were so, so conducive for a casual chat or a light meal, no wonder this business establishment drew so many crowds day in day out.

Consumers ranging from various ethnic background like to frequent this shop not only for the delicious food served; but also the togetherness they have fostered / shown that had made Malaysia’s plural society a role modal for many……….

Maybe we have had many cultural diverse business establishments all over the world, let alone Malaysia; coexisting side by side; but to forgo and temporarily cast aside our ethnic, religious and cultural differences for the sake of Unity for Mankind is what made us proud as inhabitants of this planet Earth. It looked simple, but nobody said it was easy!

Today my wife and I witnessed them at Kee Ann Road, Malacca, Malaysia; who knows somewhere out there we have similar cases of brotherhood that we could note down where we shall cherish……It was always the little thought and gesture that matters…..

Great men -like those at the Mohd Ilmali Restaurant do small & simple things in a great manner ! that’s all matters !!!

末法時期最殊勝的成佛法門!

大勢至法王子, 與其同倫五十二菩薩, 即從座起, 頂禮佛足, 而白佛言, 我憶往昔恒河沙劫, 有佛出世. 名無量光. 十二如來, 相繼一劫, 其最后佛, 名超日月光. 彼佛, 教我念佛三昧. 譬如有人. 一專為憶. 一人專忘, 如是二人, 若逢, 不逢, 或見, 非見, 二人相憶. 二憶念深. 如是乃至, 從生至生, 同于形影. 不相乘異. 十方如來, 鄰念眾生. 如母憶子. 若子逃逝, 雖憶何為. 子若憶母, 如母憶時. 母子歷生. 不相違遠. 若眾生心, 憶佛念佛, 現前當來, 必定見佛; 去佛不遠,不假方便, 自得心開. 如染香人, 身有香氣.此則名曰, 香光莊嚴. 我本因地, 以念佛心. 入無生忍. 今于此界. 攝念佛人. 歸于凈土. 佛問圓通, 我無選擇. 都攝六根, 凈念相繼, 得三摩地, 斯為第一.

Follow thru on Champion Cup Final between AC Milan & Liverpool

So it’s confirmed; AC Milan’d won the Champion Cup for a record 7th times; defeating Liverpool 2-1 in a very tactical bound atmosphere at Athens this morning.
Overall on the pitch, Liverpool certainly played better football, especially controlling the midfield area; where Kaka & Seadoft could do very little. I’d only remember Kaka taking one short at Liverpool’s goal mouth in the entire first half period.

Halfway thru the 2nd half when Benetiz felt goals for Liverpool were not coming…… he substituted Kaka’s marker, who has done very well having Kaka within his contention, the effect was almost immediate devastation.

When the sleeping tiger, Kaka was let loose again; all it took was a magic touch –a single thru pass to Ingazhi, and Milan were 2-0 up. Though Kruyt leveled with 3 minutes of normal time to go……it was already too late for revival………

The other thing that puzzled me most was Steven Gerard was playing too up front that he has little chance to show his long range shots, let alone his individual flairs……..having 9 km run in 90 minutes means nothing if you’d lost the game!

Likewise, thousand kilometers away in Malaysia, leakages and corresponding defects on a number of newly completed and just renovated buildings means all those hard earned taxation monies went down the drains; just like that………..what’s the point of Malaysia Boleh-Bocor ?

Have you ever wonder why leakages and defects appeared “systematically “ ,one after another; as if it was preplanned by Someone Up There ???

The time is long overdue for a very serious post mortem on these latest happenings…..

Firstly, what ever our mind can conceive and believe it can be achieved! Henceforth, when we initiated and executed these mega projects; what were the ulterior motives? What were our objectives and directions? When we executed them with sincere noble objectives of benefiting the society and citizens, nature thru its divine forces would bring together groups of dedicated architects, engineers, contractors, not forgetting Ministers to complete the said tacks.

When we had the slightest thoughts of selfishness, the nature bond that was meant to complete the said task would be shackled and team members disintegrate; somehow things just could not be done smoothly. Forced your way thru and the task was overcome – how thru! Until defects resurfaced and we had to pay a much higher price somehow…..Never take the forces of nature for granted! And Never ever shortchanged Nature! Someone is watching you!

Secondly, nature has it to show that floods were the results of collective amount of serious greed; earthquakes, tsunamis and volcano eruptions were the results of regional hatred and confrontations; tornado, whirlpool were caused by ignorant on human’s actions. Consequently, we are what we think about? When we preserved peace and harmony around our surroundings, peace and harmony shall be here to stay; earthquakes, tsunamis and volcano eruptions could be deferred; likewise when we opt to conquer greed with charity and giving; flash floods would be neutralized. When we analyze things thru scientific means and beyond the norms; you would be surprise as to how ignorant we have been?

To people at the helm, please , you could have fooled everyone with your motives but not the forces of Nature ? Hold your horses or you shall diminish from our political scene soon……..

佛教法印” 諸惡莫作, 重善奉行,自凈其意; 是諸佛教.”
“若人欲了知, 三世一切佛, 應觀法界性; 一切為心照!”
佛陀教育是以修清凈心, 平等心, 慈悲心為本的教育.

佛像與佛陀教育
供佛像:是時時刻刻在提醒我們不要忘記佛恩師的教誨. 佛像也是一種教材,一種表法.讓我們一看到某一尊佛像就聯想到某段佛陀的教誨及經典. 在行住座臥, 樣樣向佛學習.
香: 代表”信”., 代表戒定真香; 聞到香, 知道要修戒定慧.
燈: 燃燒自己, 照亮別人; 燈也代表光明智慧.
水: 代表清凈, 平等.
花果: 代表因果.提醒我們種善因, 得善果. 因緣果報,絲毫不爽.
經典:-佛滅后, 為恐異說邪見, 參入佛法; 故結集眾比丘, 述佛所說,書成經典.

彌勒普薩:-
呈平等心現喜悅相. 教人們拓開心量. 包容一切; 量大福大.
四大天王:-
東方持國天王:- 持是保持,國是國家; 從保持個人家庭, 事業到整個社會安定繁榮,再擴展到保持世界和平.持國天王代表盡職盡責.
天王手持琵琶, 鉉松了不響,太緊就斷了.教人要中道—恰到好處, 不能過之也不能不及.
南方增長天王:- 增長就是今天講的進步; 天王教我們要不斷求進步,不保守,不落伍.天王手持寶劍—慧劍/慧見!
西方廣目天王:- 廣就是多看,善于觀察, 取人之長,補己之短. 天王手拿龍或蛇,代表變化. 另一手拿珠子,代表不變. 教我們以不變應萬變.
北方多聞天王:-多聞代表做學問; 讀萬卷書,行萬里路.天王手持傘, 代表環保, 防止污染; 而最重要的是防止心地污染.
十八羅漢:- 小承佛法最高果位. 通達五百世;只自利,而非利他.
本師釋迦牟尼佛:-
供養佛陀教育創始人的功德最重.第一代表尊師重道.第二是名號表法; 世人毛病多, 一來沒有慈悲心, 自私自利; 故釋迦翻成中文是仁慈; 二來心不清凈; 故牟尼翻成中文是清凈; 佛告訴我們對自己要清凈; 而對別人要慈悲.
當佛陀在菩提樹下成道時說:” 奇哉, 奇哉, 大地眾生, 皆有如來智慧德相, 但以妄想執着, 不能澄得.”
東方琉璃藥師光如來:-入世念佛修定法門; 財富, 榮華, 富貴, 有求必應; 臨終一樣花開見佛, 化生西方極樂世界.
西方接引大師阿彌陀佛:- 出世念佛修定法門.佛中之王; 翻成中文是無量光無量壽; 故見面一句阿彌陀佛則是祝你長壽, 光明, 慈慧. 也提醒我們要看破, 放下一切人事物. 因此阿彌陀佛這句佛號含義功德圓滿.
大慈大悲觀世音普薩:- 把孝養父母,尊師重道擴展到對一切眾慈悲為懷, 這就是供養觀音菩薩的意義.
大智大慧大勢至普薩:- 末法最殊勝的成佛法門!
念佛圓通章:-

大孝地藏王普薩:- 地是心地,藏是寶藏. 人們心地有無量的智慧, 無量的德能, 無量的才藝,怎樣開發出來呢? 依靠孝道-孝養父母, 尊師重道 是開采心地寶藏唯一的方法.
文殊普薩:-慈悲, 孝敬是建立在理性的基礎上; 不能感情用事.
普賢普薩:- 代表實行.如果不能落實在生活上, 就變成空談.
